As a child, this was the long awaited night. Santa always came early to our home, after presents we celebrated Christmas eve with our extended family. At some point during those years, a Christmas eve service started at our church. Every year someone sang, O Holy Night. This song has became one of my all time favorites. Every time I hear it, my eyes are filled with tears.
On that First Christmas eve, so long ago it was a Holy Night. What started simply as a baby being born in a manager transformed into the Savior who came to seek and save those who are lost. As we approach this Christmas eve…if you are seeking. Search NO more, YOUR Savior has been born!
God Bless you and yours this Christmas Eve.
5th Day of Christmas Giving……
On that first Christmas long ago, God used a star to lead the Wise Men to Jesus. While generally, God doesn’t use a star to led us to our King. Instead, He has left us His Holy Spirit and His Word.
Psalm 119:105 tells us that “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.” My final gift this year is the Everyday Matters Bible for Women. Created in partnership with Kyria.com,Christianity Today’s women’s magazine, the Everyday Matters Bible for Women is designed to help women develop spiritual practices that will make their lives richer, not harder. It offers practical encouragement and tools to renew, reinvigorate and restore meaning to everyday life.
**I received a copy of this Bible to review. I am part of the CWA Review Crew.
